These being Act One shot ii, Act Two Scene One, and Act Two Scene Seven.I chose scene 2 out of Act one because we learn a great get across aboutRitas school life, skills as a writer, her curiousity, her colloquiallanguage, dialect and of her hold vocabulary, not forgettingFranks reactions to these, many of which are priceless.In Act Two Scene One, Rita returns from Summer School, and this has anoticeable impression on her. The early Rita would not have do such aninsensitive comment.This scene was not done truly differently in the film to the book. Thisscene, however, was filmed in the park, which i felt was veryeffective as a change in Frank becuase in the earlier chapters, heclaims he has an aversion to light, which shows a change in hisopinions.
